The Zags notched an easy win over the Wildcats at the Battle in Seattle.
With just one game this week, the Gonzaga Bulldogs made easy work of the Kansas State Wildcats at the 10th annual Battle in Seattle. Although the win was impressive, it didn't move the Zags up in the standings at all with the Associated Press, and they stayed firmly entrenched at No. 14 in that top 25. The Zags non-conference schedule will continue through the end of the year, with games against the Campbell Fighting Camels and Baylor Bears at home before traveling to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma St. Cowboys to close out non-conference play.
The Washington Huskies' own Pac-12 conference schedule is shaping up to be a little tougher with the Arizona Wildcats vaulting to No. 4 in the poll. The Wildcats got a last second victory over the Florida Gators at the McKale Center and have yet to drop a game on the season. The Oregon Ducks are close to cracking the top 25, getting 178 votes this week in the No. 26 spot in the rankings.
