Brink Lindsey is a senior scientist in the research and policy for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he uses his expertise in international trade, migration, globalization and economic development in order to determine the necessary structural reforms to business innovation, business start-ups II to revive job creation in the light of the great recession. Lindsey joined the Kauffman Foundation, the Cato Institute, where he served as vice president for research. From 1998 to 2004 he was director of the Cato Center for Trade Policy Studies assistance, to be a leading voice for free trade.

Scott case is a technologist, entrepreneur and inventor, and founder and chief technology officer Priceline ?name your own price? company, one of only a handful of start-ups in U.S. history to a billion dollars to achieve an annual income of less than 24 months. He was responsible for building the technology that enabled Priceline hyper-growth. The case is the CEO and board member of the Startup America Partnership, which works to drive American entrepreneurship, job creation and preservation of national global leadership. Previously, Scott has helped build a portfolio of intellectual property in the Walker Digital Invention Laboratory, and is named inventor on dozens of U.S. patents, including the underlying portfolio Priceline.


John C. Haltiwanger

is distinguished university professor of Economics at the University of Maryland. In the late 1990s he worked as chief economist of the U.S. Census Bureau. He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a senior research associate at the Center for Economic Studies at the U.S. Census Bureau. He played an important role in the development and study of American business-level longitudinal data. With these data, he developed a new statistical measure and analyze the determinants of enterprise-level job creation and job destruction and economic performance. He has more than 90 scientific articles and numerous books, including ?announced job creation and destruction,? with Steven Davis and Scott Schuh co.
