Battle Formulas

Hit Rate = Weapon Accuracy + Skill x 2 + Luck

Evasion Rate = AS x 2 + Luck + Terrain Bonus

Attack Strength = Strength + Weapon MT

Repeated Attacks = Attack Speed + 4 over opponent
(Example: Speed 14 vs Speed 10, Speed 14 gets 2 attacks)

Damage Taken = Opponent's Atk - Your Def

Magical Damage Taken = Opponent's Magic Atk - Your Res

Speed Penalties = Weapon WT - Str
(Example: Weapon WT = 20 - 14 Unit Strength = 6 Speed Penalty)

Weapon Triangle

Swords -> Axes -> Lances -> Swords

Fire -> Wind -> Thunder -> Fire

If you hold Weapon Triangle advantage your get +1 to your Attack Strength and + 10 to Hit and Evasion. Conversely, if you hold Weapon Triangle Disadvantage, you get -1 to your Attack Strength and - 10 Hit and Evasion

Critical Hit

Critical Hit Rate = Weapon Crit + Skill/2 (If Class has a Critical Rate bonus, it is applied as well)

Critical Evade = Enemy Crit % - Unit Luck
(If the result is 0, then the enemy has no chance for a critical hit)

Terrain

Tall Grass: +1 Def, +10% Evasion, -5% Hit
Tower: +3 Def, +15% Hit and Evasion, - 10% Crit
Trees: +1 Def, +10% Hit and Evasion
Water: -1 Def, -5 Hit and Evasion
Mud: -1 Def, -15 Hit and Evasion
Elevated Ground Level: +35% Hit and Evasion, +10% Crt
Sacred Ground: +2 Def, +5 Mt (Magic users only), +5 Res (All), +5 Crt
